Jimi has been invited to perform his 'electric' set at open air venues around Edinburgh during the city's famous International Festival during August.
He will perform new material - including live rendition of his latest release - 'Battle of the Fair Valley (Gweith Gwyn Ystrat)' - plus popular tracks from his back catalogue.
Look out for Jimi around 'the Shore', 'the Meadows' and the city's 'New Town'.
"I'm only interested in spots where I can park my motorcycle" said Jimi. "Getting around the centre of Edinburgh is a real pain these days. I'll be doing electric sets featuring backing tracks and some poetry. I've no idea how it will go down with the public but it should be fun. I'm looking forward to it."
During August, Jimi will be dividing his time between Edinburgh and filming locations around Scotland where a TV historical drama series is being filmed. Jimi has been appearing as a supporting actor in the production since April.
Latest release 'Battle of the Fair Valley' can be previewed, streamed and downloaded at all major on-line music sites. Click here for details: https://emubands.ffm.to/battleofthefairvalley-gweithgwenystrat
A music video for the release, filmed at the ancient Pictish hill fort atop Bennachie in Aberdeenshire, can be viewed below. More information on the release is available in the video description.
