First 'Jimi' Playlist on Spotify after record number of streams.

 

 Jimi has created his first ever playlist on the Spotify global music site after a record number of listeners streamed his music.

Spotify representatives contacted Jimi directly to urge action after they noticed an increase of 336% in people tuning into his music during September and October.

With November figures looking good too, Jimi put together an 18-track playlist of old and new material.

"Loads of folk around the globe appear to be listening to my music" said Jimi.

"As a consequence Spotify have asked me to put together a playlist of various stuff I've done over the years, so, here it is, from the old(ish) to the new. 

"As you would hopefully expect there's plenty fire, fun, fury, passion plus a wee bit o' healthy celtic introspection too. I hope people enjoy it."
